MACOMB AMATEUR BASEBALL FEDERATION

MABF is an association of about 140 elite amateur baseball teams competing in five two-year leagues from 7 - 8 through 17-18, with most players coming from Macomb, Oakland, Wayne and St. Clair counties and from several nearby Ontario communities.

The season extends from April through July with up to 30 league games. This schedule can be supplemented with another 25 to 50 games in optional outside tournaments, which may include the post season World Series tournaments of the American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC) and the National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF).

Teams organized by responsible adults are admitted by application and payment of entry fees by January 11th.  The number of MABF teams is not limited.  Total team expenses for a season may range from $4,000 on up and must be met solely by team organizers.
